Your Tour Lives Here

A Prevost XL entertainer coach that sleeps 12, with private bunks, a kitchenette, and lounges on both ends. Sleep, work, and roll into the next city rested.

Based in the Kansas City metro, built to travel the continental US. Owned, maintained, and driven by us, not brokered.

Not a Charter Bus. An Entertainer Coach.

A charter bus moves a group from one place to the next. An entertainer coach, sometimes called a sleeper bus, is built so a touring party can live on board for weeks. Private bunks instead of seats. A kitchenette instead of a cooler. Lounges to work, rest, and decompress between shows.

It is the same vehicle class the touring industry runs on, built on the Prevost platform the pros trust. The difference is who you book it from: a Kansas City company that owns its coach and picks up the phone, not a national broker reselling a bus sight unseen.

How Booking a Coach Actually Works

Priced by the itinerary, not a flat day rate

Send your routing and dates. Your quote reflects the days, the mileage, the driver, fuel, and any repositioning, all in one honest number.

The driver and Hours of Service, handled

We plan legal drive time around your show schedule, and add a co-driver for back-to-back long legs so the wheels never stop when they shouldn't.

Repositioning, priced straight

If your tour starts outside the Midwest, we are transparent about the cost to get the coach to your first city. Routing through Kansas City keeps it low.

Insurance your venues will accept

Full commercial coverage, with a certificate of insurance and additional-insured parties added whenever your promoters or production company require it.

Send Us Your Routing

Dates, cities, and how many travel with you. You will get a straight answer on availability and a real number, from the people who own and drive the coach.

Tour Manager Questions, Answered

Exactly how many bunks does it sleep, and what's the layout?

The coach sleeps 12 in private bunks, with a front lounge and a rear lounge on either end. If you want to walk through the exact bunk layout before you commit, ask us for a walkthrough. We would rather you see it than guess.

Can I see real photos and a walkthrough of this specific coach?

The photos on this page are our actual Prevost XL, not a stock unit. Send us your routing and we will set up a full walkthrough of the lounges, bunks, galley, and bathroom so your tour manager knows precisely what they are getting.

What's in the kitchenette, and is there a shower?

The kitchenette has a refrigerator, a sink, and counter space, so the party can store and prep food across a multi-day run. There is a private onboard restroom. For showers, crews typically use venue or hotel day-rooms, which we help coordinate into the schedule.

Is this a real sleeper, or just a charter bus with a lounge?

It is a true entertainer coach: private bunks, a kitchenette, and front and rear lounges. You do not just ride it, you live on it between shows. That is a different vehicle class from our passenger charter coaches.

Can it handle our gear, backline, and merch?

The coach carries large underfloor storage bays for luggage and gear. If you are moving a full backline, production load, or a wall of merch, tell us the dimensions and weight when you send your routing and we will confirm the storage plan, including trailer options where they make sense.

Can one driver cover an overnight run between cities, or do we need a co-driver?

Federal Hours-of-Service rules cap how long one driver can be behind the wheel. For routine overnight hops a single driver is fine; for back-to-back long legs we plan a co-driver in advance so the bus keeps rolling legally and on schedule. We will tell you which your routing needs, and what it costs, before you book.

What's the dead-head or repositioning cost if our tour doesn't start in Kansas City?

If your first show is somewhere other than the Midwest, there is a repositioning leg to bring the coach to you and home again, and we price it transparently. Tours that originate in or route through Kansas City and the Midwest keep that cost low, which is exactly where we are an advantage.

What's the all-in rate, and what's not included?

Entertainer coaches are priced per the full itinerary, not a flat day rate in isolation. Your number reflects the days, the mileage, the driver, fuel, and repositioning. We are upfront about what sits outside the base rate, such as driver per diem and gratuity, so there are no surprises mid-tour.

Can you provide a COI and add our venues as additional insured?

Yes. We carry full commercial coverage and can issue a certificate of insurance and add promoters, venues, or production companies as additional insured when your contracts require it.

You run one coach. What if it's booked, or it breaks down mid-tour?

We book the coach deliberately and we will give you a straight answer on availability fast, because you are talking to the owner, not a call center. We own and obsessively maintain it, inspect it on a strict schedule, and plan contingencies up front. No broker reselling a bus they have never seen.

Do you own this coach, or are you a broker subbing this out?

We own it. Crossroad Tours owns, maintains, and drives this coach out of the Kansas City metro, and we have done high-stakes travel since 1936, and we are proud to be the choice of the Kansas City Chiefs. You can look up USDOT #87631 and MC #197923 before you call.

What's your policy on pets, alcohol, and smoking onboard?

We know touring life. Tell us what you need, including the artist's dog and how the crew lives on the road, and we will set clear, workable policies in writing so there are no misunderstandings on day one.
